PLAY IT AGAIN
Meet Our Team!
Our Team Captains have brought Play It Again Soccer to a larger scale. They are collecting and donating cleats, changing the game for kids and inspiring others to give back, one pair at a time.

I started playing soccer at 6 yrs old and played club soccer for 10 years. More recently, I have continued to play on my High School's soccer team. While traveling overseas with family, I found that many young soccer players who were close in age to me, did not have proper cleats for when they played. Sensing that there was far more life available in the cleats I had quickly outgrown—at times 2-3 pairs in a season—I began collecting my own gently used cleats as well as those outgrown by my teammates. These cleats were of the first donated for distribution by PLAY IT AGAIN SOCCER when traveling back to countries with soccer players in need of a pair. Benefiting the giving and the receiving end, I donate these cleats for my sheer love of soccer and the unification it grants.

As a teenage girl in school, I am fortunate enough to experience opportunities to partake in various kinds of sports such as football which I am extremely grateful for. I have been in several girls' football clubs at school and often play the sport with my brother who has helped me improve a lot. I have many friends who play for clubs and we all have everything we need.
Efforts like what we put fourth with PLAY IT AGAIN SOCCER make me understand that we should be thankful for what we have. Sports make people happy and everyone deserves joy to the fullest. Giving things such as gently used cleats which us teenagers have grown out of won't affect us as we don't use them but it could make another kid's dream come true.

We have played organized soccer for 12 years now and can’t say enough about how great the game of soccer is, and how universal the game is. We are so fortunate to travel to Brazil several times a year and donating cleats to young players is just awesome. Soccer has a large impact on Brazilian culture. The sport is considered a favorite pastime of youngsters playing “football”.
We hope to connect with other soccer aficionados within South America to grow Play It Again Soccer in other countries.

I never encountered a sport I didn’t like but soccer has always been a personal favorite. I have played the sport since childhood and have especially understood that within the game, working together as a team enhances the strength of every player. After joining PLAY IT AGAIN SOCCER, I have witnessed firsthand how all the cleats collected for circulation immediately improves the recipients performance and confidence. I am proud to have donated cleats in Mozambique for several years and encourage others to join PLAY IT AGAIN SOCCER.
